About Montfort Network
Montfort Network is founded by St. Marie De Montfort of France during the 18th century. After eight years of study, he left for Paris to study at St. Sulpice seminary to become a priest. On his way, he crossed a bridge called ‘Cesson’ and took a radical decision never to be attached to any worldly possessions or material goods and to live a life of total dependence on God. He gave away everything to the poor and even exchanged his clothes with a beggar.
He was a man of action with compassion. He trusted “God Alone” for all his endeavours. He says if you do not take a risk for God, you do nothing for him. He strongly advocated that “those whom the world rejects must move you the most.”
Montfort Network has over 180 institutions in India. Montfort Network has formal and informal education Centres, technical institutions, Centres for disability studies and schools for Children with disabilities, old-age homes and social action Centres.
