MONTFORT CARE EARLY INTERVENTION CENTRE(EIC)
The Montfort Care Early Intervention Centre Program provides early identification and therapy for children with hearing disabilities. By intervening before age 3, we unlock critical language development, helping children integrate into mainstream schools and build bright, independent futures.

Hearing Health Awareness Camps
Our awareness initiatives empower communities with the vital knowledge needed to support children with hearing loss from the earliest stages. By collaborating with a diverse network of stakeholders—including community members, NGOs, school teachers, and medical professionals
Screening Camps
We believe that early detection is the cornerstone of successful rehabilitation for children with hearing loss. We conduct free hearing screenings for newborns, infants, and young children. In collaboration with government hospitals and community health centers, we conduct free hearing screenings.
Audiological Testing
Our well equipped Audiological lab is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools. We conduct precise hearing assessments that form the foundation for tailored intervention plans. From BERA and PTA tests to cochlear implant mapping and hearing aid trials, every evaluation brings us a step closer to empowering children with the gift of sound.
Parent Counseling: Counselling at Every Stage
Screening & Testing From the very first test, we ensure you are fully informed. We explain every procedure clearly so you are never left with questions or doubts. Diagnosis & Guidance Receiving a diagnosis can be overwhelming. We provide a supportive, compassionate space to help you understand the results, explore treatment options, and choose the right hearing devices for your child.
Prescribing Hearing Devices (Hearing Aids & Cochlear Implants) & Medical Linkages
After different tests, children are prescribed hearing aids depending on the degree and type of hearing loss.
Hearing aid trials are carried out by Audiologist. After different tests, the best suited hearing aid is dispensed to the children at subsidized rates.
Rehabilitation Services (Auditory Verbal Therapy & Speech Therapy Sessions)
Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) is to help children develop strong listening and speaking skills. Ideally, therapy lasts about 2–3 years to ensure solid language acquisition.Our program focuses on four pillars language, speech, cognition, and audition to build strong communication skills.
School Readiness Program
Children enjoy learning through play and exploration in our school readiness program. Here, young minds in our nursery are gently introduced to essential skills such as pre-writing, pre-reading, and pre-math, laying the foundation for future learning. Alongside academic readiness, we place a strong emphasis on developing social skills, helping children build confidence, cooperate with others, and form friendships.
Parent Engagement / Orientation
At Montfort Care Early Intervention Centre, parent engagement is an integral, non-negotiable pillar of our intervention model. We recognize that a child’s progress is deeply tied to the well-being and confidence of their primary caregivers. By actively involving families from day one, we ensure that no family navigates this journey in isolation.
Govt. Schemes guidance & enrolment
We do more than just guide—we take a hands-on approach to secure financial stability for families of children with disabilities. Our team actively helps parents navigate and complete enrollment for vital municipal pension schemes, including those by KDMC, Ulhasnagar, and Navi Mumbai Mahanagarpalika.
Psychological Counselling
Recognizing that a supportive home environment is crucial for the success of our children,, we provide dedicated psychological counseling services specifically for caregivers through regular group therapy sessions. These sessions offer a safe and empathetic space for parents and guardians to connect, share their experiences, and navigate the unique emotional and practical challenges of raising a child with hearing loss.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) assessments are conducted , providing in-depth evaluations of sensory processing, motor coordination, and cognitive development. Following this regular OT therapy sessions are conducted tailored specifically to the needs identified in these evaluated children.

We do newborn hearing

Hearing Screening for newborns is a simple, painless test that can be done for infants immediately after birth or preferably within the first nine months.

Screening helps detect any hearing problems, however minor if they exist which can affect the overall development of a child.

If tested, we can be sure about the hearing abilities of the child and administer timely ear care to ensure their normal overall development.
